Nobody needs more than one computer, cell phones or too many clothes. Currently one particular organization is running a computer fare. They are going to be spreading awareness about computers to all the community and selling them at a low price, its a great idea for all involved. You could sell your items at auction. If you choose to take this route you have to clean and pack all your items. Then transport them to the auction house. The auctioneer gets a percentage of the sale. Usually between ten and twenty percent. Your items will often bring a little more money when sold this way but once you pay the auctioneer your take home could be less. You still make someone happy with the stuff you know longer use but it involves a lot of work.
The easiest way to make someone happy with the stuff you know longer use it to give it to charity. Provide items that people need and want. Old clothing, furniture and more makes a lot of difference to people who have nothing. If also leaves you with a good feeling that you have been able to make someone happy with stuff you know longer use.
